The Community Hall is available for hire for corporate and community groups, meeting rooms, training and workshops.  The hall has an accessible unisex toilet, a ramp for wheelchair access, a full-featured kitchen, a whiteboard and a remote control screen. it is ideal for up to 50-60 people.

Location

The Community Hall is located at 1 Kraatz Ave, Loganlea which is a few minutes away from Loganlea Station, Meadowbrook Shopping Village,  Logan Hospital and Griffith University Campus.

 

  •     Gold Coast Airtrain stops at Loganlea Station.
  •     Clarks Logan City Bus Services also stops outside the Station.

 

We have a attached carpark for 12 vehicles only. There is plenty of  street parking bays a short walk up the street. .

Information About Booking:

  • Public Liability insurance to the value of $10 million is required. The hirer is required to provide a copy of the current certificate of protection upon booking.
  • Booking hours are 9 am to 10 pm Monday to Thursday and 9 am to 11 pm Friday and Saturday.
  • Booking is in a one-hour section. 
  • A refundable bond of $200 is required before the first booking. Bond will be refunded within 7 days after the conclusion. 
  • A cleaning fee of $150.00 might be charged if the hall is not cleaned.
  • All prices are GST Inclusive.

  • Booking opens to the public for meetings, workshops, promoting services or products, Christian fellowship, Tupperware, birthdays (with public liability)
  • Long-term bookings are welcome. Please email booking@deafcare.org.au
  • No booking is available on Sunday morning or Thursday morning.
  • We adhere to a no-smoking 10-metre zone and a no-alcohol policy.

Cancellation Policy:

  • As per Terms and Conditions:
  • For booking cancelled within 48 hours - No refund.
  • For booking cancelled between 48 hours and 7 days - 50% Refund.
  • For booking cancelled between 7 days and 14 days - 75% Refund.

Corporate

  • Minimum 2 Hours
  • Corporate booking is for all corporate and business training, meetings, workshops, and private functions
  • Proof of Public Liability Required

  • Minimum 2 Hours
  • Casual Booking is for group - other than a corporate or community - that hires the hall one-off or random booking during the year. for example, birthday, Tupperware.
  • Proof of Public Liability Required (one day coverage accepted)

  • Community booking is for not for profit organisation or club that have an ABN and is registered with Australian Charities and Not-for- profit Commission
